As a Working Student Software Development (m/f/d) in our Product Excellence team, you are part of CHECK24 "Factory", our idea generation group and central service provider for high-impact services and IT systems. You will be involved in the technical development of our feedback and improvement tools, which we use to automatically collect, structure, and evaluate product feedback (video, audio, text, etc.) that we provide to our products. You work on the system and software architecture and support the development of new features that are used by employees of the entire CHECK24 Group and represent central elements for the continuous improvements of our comparisons products.

Your Responsibilities

• You are a full part of our experienced and agile development team
• Get involved in the development of new tools and features within our Greenfield approach
• Assist in the maintenance and conception of the overall architecture of the tools, consisting of frontend, backend, database and REST-API components
• Make a valuable contribution to the further development, optimization and scaling of our systems
• Plan and discuss features and product improvements, bring in your own ideas
• Work closely with our product management in an agile development process

Your Qualifications

• Ongoing studies in the field of computer science or a comparable field of study
• First knowledge of web development with PHP and the use of MySQL
• Strong learning motivation in frontend software development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Quality awareness and solution-oriented work are among your strengths
• Ability to work in a team, willingness to learn and work independently is a matter of course for you
